Auburn Hills' Senior Services provides weekly outreach to a population requiring some extra care. Meals on Wheels operates daily out of the Community Center. Volunteers are always welcome. Support is also needed for blood pressure screenings, and for snow and lawn upkeep for the senior population.
There are many opportunities to serve the community through one of several local service organizations. Donations and service opportunities are available through our Community Council members. The Optimist Club and Rotary are both welcoming of new members looking to get involved. Groups meet regularly and provide connection through a shared mission and sense of purpose.
There are several organizations providing direct service to families in need. From supporting food pantries to providing clothing, holiday gifts and encouragement, volunteers are always needed. There are relays, runs, walks, drives and weekly service opportunities, all with the shared goal of improving the lives of others.
